Santa Clara Brass “HFS” Hand Forged Smooth
Our line of brass sinks that are 100% forged by hand and hammer to produce a smooth surface sink. All of the sink's exterior detail is done entirely by hand and hammer. All of the curves, angles, and shaping of the final product are created with the force of different hammers completely by hand. This is is also available in traditional hand-hammered brass as well.
All of my Kitchen / Prep / Bar / Bath Sinks include sound pads - Not that the sink needs it because we use extra thick brass sheet, but I love the sound a sink makes with the pads installed - Trust me - It's nicknamed "the Cadillac Sink" why not kick it up a notch!

Many people ask, what finish do you recommend, I personally like the matte finish, as you can always polish it to shiny, and you can let it naturally patina to weathered. Care is minimal with a matte finish. The drain opening is more application motivated then personal preference. Bar applications: either one, Vegetable / Prep areas are generally 3 1/2, and kitchen applications are 3 1/2" as well. Both options for drain location is acceptable. ** Depending on the overall span of the faucet you choose, shorter length faucets are more suitable for offset (to the back) drain placement. Larger Faucets are better suited for centered drain openings.
Care and Maintenance:
All Sinks come with my "Care" package of product with simple instructions.
Do not clean Antique /Weathered Brass with brass cleaners as they will lighten the finish. Mild soap and water is all that you need. 000 Steel Wool / or a green scour pad (I personally recommend and include Scotchbrite P96 Professional pads to be used to burnish tarnish off these finishes.
